Hidden Bed Bookcase

Image
I am now on Instagram! Follow me at www.instagram.com/fun_minecraft_builds/ This is a very interesting combination of a bookcase and a bed. The bed is hidden behind two doors in the middle of the barrels and bookcases. Materials include bookshelves, barrels, beds, a painting and some lighting or plants as decoration. Add this build into a library in your base. The bed might come in handy when you need to sleep on the fly! Also, it is very important to leave the top open with a secret exit so that you can escape the bed without taking any damage (see below). As usual, let me know how your build turns out :) Thank you for looking at my Minecraft builds! I appreciate your interest. Large Spruce Bookshelf

Image
A large horizontal bookshelf made out of spruce themed blocks, barrels and books. This is an upgrade version of the mini spruce bookshelf build I posted before. If you look carefully, I have added a spruce door in the middle rather than trap doors. Use this door to make a secret tunnel from the bookshelf to another room in your house!  This bookshelf works in larger spaces and rooms, and would be fitting for a Minecraft mansion. You can also try adding this build into a library, big or small, to break away from standard and boring bookshelf designs.  As usual, let me know how your build turns out :)

Mini Spruce Bookshelf

Image
I am now on Instagram! Follow me at  www.instagram.com/fun_minecraft_builds/ A miniature bookshelf made out of spruce logs, trap doors, barrels and books. Add one of these into your Minecraft bedroom or living room, or multiple to build a library. The small and compact design will allow it to fit into most spaces. The inspiration for this design came from a small and company IKEA display bookcase.  Tutorial Video:  The wood style you use for this build can change based on what the theme of your base is. The logs, trap doors and potted plants should be unified to one wood style, otherwise it gets a little too overwhelming to look at.  As usual, let me know how your build turns out :) Our Minecraft builder/author also makes shirts! If you would like to support the blog, please consider checking them out below!

Spruce Log Bunk Bed

Image
This bunk bed design was created with an arrangement of spruce themed blocks and decorations. Use barrels for storage, potted spruce saplings for decoration and whatever tool/crafting blocks that are the most useful to you. Add spruce trapdoors around the outside of the logs to add a slick exterior to the build.  If spruce logs are not available to you, try making this bunk bed out of other wood types. In my opinion, oak and dark oak are viable alternatives to spruce for this.  As usual, let me know how your build turns out :)

Fancy Diorite Couch

Image
This simple yet fancy couch design is made out of diorite, red sandstone slabs, white concrete and shroomlight blocks. Decorate with potted plants. Place this couch in modern Minecraft house next to a minimal fireplace or aquarium.  Try making this couch with granite or sandstone instead of diorite. Any smooth stone styled blocks could be used while maintaining that classy modern look. As usual, let me know how your build turns out :)

Underground Minecart Unloading Area

Image
This simple underground build functions as an on-the-fly minecart unloading and ore smelting area. Combine rail tracks, stone bricks, furnaces, fences, and barrels to complete this build. Stone buttons can be added to make it look like there are small rocks on the ground. In my version of this build I only used stone bricks, but to add more depth to it you could mix in some cracked and mossy stone bricks. This could help the structure look more ancient or aged in comparison.  As usual, let me know how your build turns out :)

Sandstone Barrel Planter

Image
A very simple yet elegant barrel planter made with sandstone. This build looks great on its own but also works in a pattern side by side, making a wall of sorts. You can put this build indoors or outdoors. If you are building a base in the desert or making a desert village, consider using this design.  Feel free to change out any of the sandstone blocks and walls with red sandstone. Both block styles will work very well.  As usual, let me know how your build turns out :)
