Simple Forest Watch Tower

This tower design works well on the outskirts of small forest towns or natural villages that you are occupying. There is enough room at the top to throw some barrels and a bed, which makes this tower ideal for evading creatures during the night. With the minimal resources required, this should be a pretty fast build.  Try making this tower in other biomes and with new wood types! For example, you could make this tower in the jungle with some jungle wood. As usual, let me know how your build turns out :)

Jungle Wood Reading Desk

The build was designed to fit a 1 block by 9 block wall, making it perfect for even tiny Minecraft homes. All you'll need are some jungle wood stairs, a lectern, signs, trap doors and some barrels for storage. You can decorate the desk with whatever plants or lighting you like.  Another approach to this build would be to replace the lectern with an enchanting table or crafting bench.
