I created a very warm and welcoming sitting area for you and your Minecraft friends. The build was created in a small working space with an emphasis on dark oak and brick, with oak furniture.

Simple Forest Watch Tower

Image
I am now on Instagram! Follow me at  www.instagram.com/fun_minecraft_builds/ I designed a small and simple forest watch tower out of spruce logs and dark oak planks. This tower design works well on the outskirts of small forest towns or natural villages that you are occupying. There is enough room at the top to throw some barrels and a bed, which makes this tower ideal for evading creatures during the night. With the minimal resources required, this should be a pretty fast build.  Try making this tower in other biomes and with new wood types! For example, you could make this tower in the jungle with some jungle wood. As usual, let me know how your build turns out :)

Mini Spruce Bookshelf

Image
I am now on Instagram! Follow me at  www.instagram.com/fun_minecraft_builds/ A miniature bookshelf made out of spruce logs, trap doors, barrels and books. Add one of these into your Minecraft bedroom or living room, or multiple to build a library. The small and compact design will allow it to fit into most spaces. The inspiration for this design came from a small and company IKEA display bookcase.  Tutorial Video:  The wood style you use for this build can change based on what the theme of your base is. The logs, trap doors and potted plants should be unified to one wood style, otherwise it gets a little too overwhelming to look at.  As usual, let me know how your build turns out :) Our Minecraft builder/author also makes shirts! If you would like to support the blog, please consider checking them out below!

This is the yellow rustic kitchen design that I made for my farmhouse in Minecraft. The theme I was going for was bright and retro, with countryside vibes sprinkled in! This is also the first time that the background and floor colours have played a significant role in one of my interior design creations.  The design is made up of multiple kitchen utilities. The two borders are made up of barrel cupboards for storage. Iron blocks, cauldrons and tripwire hooks are used for the sinks and fridge. Smokers were also added as the main cooking blocks because a kitchen is where Minecraft food truly should be prepared. Hoppers rest above the smokers to catch the steam! The final touch to the build is the polished andesite stairs and blocks that make up the ceiling and countertops. Andesite is often underutilized in Minecraft and easily accessible. I thought it would be fun to add it to this build because it compliments the yellow concrete walls so nicely.  As usual, please let me know h...
